Where the small, high-value trade is concentrated — and how Reelvitrin fits each market.
Reelvitrin was built for shops that sell small, bright, high-value goods from a counter: jewellers, gold dealers, watch shops, opticians. These pages describe how that works in five markets where the trade is dense and where the tools built for online stores cannot reach — because a shop in a covered bazaar has a phone photo, not a product URL.
- IstanbulThe Grand Bazaar and the streets around Nuruosmaniye hold one of the oldest continuous jewellery trades in the world. Shops are small, stock turns quickly, and most of the selling still happens face to face across a glass case. What changed is where the first look happens: a buyer now sees the piece on a phone before walking in.
- DubaiThe Gold Souk in Deira is one of the densest concentrations of gold retail anywhere, and the trade extends well beyond it — into Meena Bazaar, the malls and the wholesale offices around them. Buyers arrive from many countries, which means the same window has to speak to several audiences at once.
- MumbaiZaveri Bazaar near Kalbadevi is the centre of India's jewellery retail, and the shops there range from a single counter to several floors. Family businesses that have run for generations now compete for attention on the same phone screen as everyone else.
- DhakaTanti Bazar in Old Dhaka has been the jewellery quarter for generations, and the trade now runs from those lanes out to Gulshan and Uttara. Shops are small, margins are watched closely, and every rupee spent on marketing has to show a return.
- ShenzhenShuibei in Luohu is one of the largest gold and jewellery trading concentrations in the world, with wholesale floors and retail counters stacked in the same buildings. Volume is enormous, turnover is fast, and product photography rarely keeps up with either.
